to photograph your guns etc. I'm in the market for one to use for forums like this and of course outdoor use. Any particulars I need to know? There's only about a thousand or so out there so if you could tell me the make and model, the cost and what you think of it I'd appreciate it.
Good Evening. I just bought one a month ago. Picked it up at Wallyworld for about 130.00. I don't know how it ranks with other dig. cams, but here is the peticulers...Casio Exilim 7.2 megapixels. You have to size the pic to use as an upload. It's easy too. The 3X zoom wasn't as good as I hoped for but for $130, it works well. Go anywhere like wallyworld or kmart. I just bought in the middle of the range. I have pictures posted on my blog, go look. keep in mind the pics were taken set at the lower resolution setting. I'm pretty happy with it. Check out these pics.
Hassenfloppen DX767xitivplr. 12 Megapixel. $3700, and it takes crappy pictures!
LOL, couldn't resist. Sorry! I keep a Sony Cybershot 3.2 Megapixel lying around. I think it was around $290? Great little camera, with in camera editing.

I have the Canon Powershot S2IS and it works great. I also have a Canon Powershot A40 , was my first digital camera. Looking to put it on eBay as a matter of fact. Have the original box, case, original 16MB and a 512MB secure card etc.etc.etc if you might be interested. I have always liked Canon products. I'd give you a good price on it if you need a camera? Here's a review on it. Steves Digicams - Canon PowerShot A40 Zoom - User Review

I have the Fujifilm FinePix S700 and I love it. easy to use and easy to download photos to the computer.
I had a Kodak Easyshare prior to this one; had nothing but trouble with it and Kodak couldn't have cared less. The most I get out of it was 3 picyures before it went dead. After changing batteries for the umpteenth time I decided enough was enough and bought the Fuji.
My recommendation is to go to your library and find their stack of Consumer Reports. The librarian will show you. Look in the index for the month in 2007 when they did digital cameras. They list best buys in all kinds of price ranges. I got my wife a $550 Nikon D40 Kit for Christmas. She has not used it, which I find annoying, since that money could have funded a nice revolver!
My friend is a real camera guy, and he assured me that it was a really good choice. I'll probably never know!

Well I just got one. I wanted something very slim so I could just put it in my pocket or a water proof container when I'm fishing or a pack when hunting.
Most of you guys spent more dough than I did. I hope I got enough camera.
Mine is a FUJIFILM J10 3x optical $150 I'm not using a tape but it's approx 2" x 3" x 5/8" My computer is almost 10 years old with only 10 gigs and 5 of that is already occupied. Really slow! At this point I've been able to load pics into the computer (is that called uploading?) but haven't figured out how to delete them or load them onto an email. My baby girl moved out and got married recently so my little helper can't help anymore. Thanks for the information.
I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55. It is 7.2 mega pixels. The pictures are great and it takes video with sound. The best thing is that it is the size of a credit card and is only 7/8" thick, slips right into a pocket. I got mine for Christmas, so it was free. I have seen them lately for under $140.
