I need a second job...

I already have a M44. But reading all these posts I now want a M38 and 91/30. Everytime I walk into Dunhams I look at the Mosins first. I think the people working there are getting sick of me looking at the rifles. I think I need to go to Mosinitis rehab.

Save your money! It doesn't work. That money is better spent on ammo and such!

Wink

If you have your C&R, SOG has M38s right now. They have 91/30s too in standard and laminated. Don't fret over which one, get one of each. At least to start, you can get more later.

What doesn't work, a second job? I know that, that will never happen. I was just kidding. I do want at least a 91/30 to try out for deer hunting. Just so I dont walk around the woods with a bayo getting caught up on the brush.

They also have Finn M39's, so beware.

My name is Geo M44 and I am an MN carbine junkie...

2-post war M44's, 1-M38, 1-M39, 1-1944 M44 Tula (on order).

Next weekend, the M44 collection will grow again as I pick out something from J&G to fill my Richards walnut stock... woo hoo!

Po, but happy!!!

Duhnam's has them on sale today and tomorrow for 69.00!! The one in West Allis has the best selection. There are some interesting ones on Packard. Not much up on Bluemound, The one up on 76th street I have not been into for a while. There was a 39 Tula up on 108th st. Not sure if it is still there.

Good Luck!! If you get stuck or need a second opinion PM me and I will give you my cell number and meet you there! I live in Milwaukee. I think that is where you live as well?

Thanks Tex. I do live in Milw. When I do decide to get one I'll let you know. It's nice to know someone in the area that can help me out.

Bring some of those six guns, that cowboy lever gun, a couple mil surplus rifles and some ammo. Meet me at the range and I will be glad to give you 5 bucks, Billy!

Now, what do you think about that!

In more ways than one...

... Sometimes better lucky than good.

It's taken me 2 years to figure out what I wanted, and that long to get the $.

After the next 2 the collection stalls for a while.

Sorry.. Old Monty Python skit running through my head..

Elsworth!!
Say, does the Surplus Store on the main drag in Platteville ever carry a decent amount of used stuff? I used to go in there all the time, and I really miss the old store as it was back in the 80's, with surplus stuff everywhere!!!
