Wrestlemania 24

I know, I know...it is fake. It is entertaining when there isn't anything on and I enjoy watching it sometimes.

I got the PPV for Wrestlemania 24 yesterday and I noticed they didn't play the National Anthem. They played "America the Beautiful" instead. I guess it is alright, but a bit out of the ordinary.

What do y'all think about doing that?

This is no different then the National Anthem not being played before a concert. I would have loved to have seen it. Hopefully Flair will be on Raw tonight to give one final goodbye. I've watched that man wrestle for probably, at least 13 years or so.

The Star Spangled Banner should be played at all sporting events. Since Wrestlemainia is not a "real" sporting event it probably doesn't matter. It suprises me that they would choose something other than the National Anthem.

Yea, that was an interesting match. I also love watching The Undertaker and Triple H.

Yeah, but I miss the good old days from the mid to late 90's. Those were the best years for a wrestling fan. You had the NWO years in WCW, and DX, Austin, and the Nation on Raw. Doesn't get any better then that.
