If things go bad all around

So what do you guys think you will do if all of the sudden the US turns into one big Kalifornia. Obama Hillary or McCain is pres, and the Supreme court says the 2nd is a individual right BUT regulated to what they say is "within reason" of what you can have "trying to appeal to both sides". They deem some rifles and pistols illegal and demand you turn them in or you are breaking the law. Then some might be ok for a few months but must be registered, but then they come for them at your home like they did in CA with SKS's after registration. Restricted ammo and the ammo that is allowed is serial #ed and expensive. Will you start selling your stuff if you can, hide it, or other if this happened. Like they say, when you feel you have to bury your guns is the time you should NOT. Me personally, I'm not sure yet, giving it all a lot of thought. The way the climate is I am concerned. Your thoughts.

Is this a SHTF scenario?

Well, the Supreme Court will rule it's an individual right to own firearms, but that the government can regulate it. I actually think are biggest fear would be Hillary. Obama has come out and said it's not going to go after our guns. Do I believe him? No. But, I do think he will leave that alone for a while. Whoever gets into office is going to have to deal with Iraq, our border, and the price of gas before they do anything. If a Dem gets into office and the first thing they do is go after the guns, this country will flip upside down. I'm honestly starting to think that 50 years from now this country will have broken up, forming a few smaller countries. There was some fresh attacks on the green zone today, you need to keep a close eye on it to see if Iran's name comes up yet again. Israel is running out of water(yes this is fact as my Uncle was there about a week ago), and Syria is coming out saying they are prepared for war with the United States. It's also coming out that after Cheney's visit to Saudi Arabia they are coming up with plans in case of a nuclear disaster from Iran's southern plant. It will be going online this year, Israel has said they won't allow that to happen. Before the end of the year we will be at war with Iran one way or another. That being said, you better think long and hard about what would have to be "done" in order to get the American people behind such an action.

Not really a SHTF thing, more of a serious question of if politics are going the way they are, with a not so favorable eye from them and the media on our hobby as gun enthusiasts and law abiding citizens, what other people are thinking they will do with what they got. The last few months people that have never thought about it are looking for AKs and ARs before you cant get them and ammo. Also people are cashing in and selling some of their items at a high price seeing things to come. Im just asking a question as to what other people here think about our future for the next year, not the end of the world. If they think to cash in well the irons hot and get the money out of their stuff, or is the material worth more later as a solid good as compared to our dropping dollar, and or if you dont sell any of your stuff thinking it will be worth more that way but have them make guns illegal to have and you lose your whole investment? I guess it was the same gamble the Britts took when they kept theirs instead of selling and got them just taken away and lost their buck. YES IM OVER 18 if that was a serious question.

Pred I hope Christ returns before 50 years, matter of fact I would love to see him now...Wouldn't that be Great !!!!!

If the Supreme's rule it's an Individual right as it is, I can't help but wonder if the Congress will ban some types of firearms.
I hate waiting don't yall ???

Angry

Molon Labe!! The Dems cannot afford the price banning our guns will unleash on them.

If we go to war with Iran and Syria - the best thing we can do is to simply bomb all their infrastructure, government buildings, bases, arms storage, ports, power plants, communications, transportation - reduce them to the stone age - then leave them alone. They will be off the world stage for quite awhile.
Our mistake is always trying to be 'the good guy' and 'bringing Democracy' to the savages. Take tham out for the running as a threat - then throw an iron curtain around them - nothing goes in or comes out! Let them live as they wish - in the fifth century. ALONE.
This we can do easily. Anything more just mires us down.

They're in Cahoots....

Cuomo calling for hil and o to run together, with the winner "on top."

This is a bad combination (and if I were o I'd sure be checking 6 if I won !)

It's a setup -- they're going to run together. Been planning it for some time.

Isn't that essentially the law of the land today without the SC saying anything?

Can't ever give up your guns no matter what! That would be the end of this country. I think it would bring on a second civil war. If we gave up our arms all the other rights will soon follow. Once we've allowed ourselves to be disarmed ,we allow them to pull the teeth out of the lions mouth.
I think that's what George Washington had in mind when he said "the best defense against tyranny is a well armed citizenry".

I would imagine that'd be committing utter political suicide. No one'd be that stupid. Because the next POTUS would just reverse it. As much as the antis make noise, the old silent majority likely wouldn't like a big chunk bitten so overtly out of the Bill of Rights.
