Ammo prices due to rise again!!!

This is no Joke. I was in a gun shop today and they told me I better stock up now. April 4th ammo prices are going up again!

DANG! But, the price of ammo is why I am enjoying my Mil Surplus rifles!!!

Stock up on any surplus ammo coming on the market. Almost all the western countries are now being pressurised into destroying surplus ammunition reather than allowing it to fall into the wrong hands! The USA is just another one of these countries which thinks this is a good idea. "Surplus" ammo will dry up sooner than later.!!

Not so much an April's fools here. Ammo prices have been on a steady increase when I've been buying them. Price of metals and components continue to rise. Since well stored ammo has a long shelf life, I've been buying in quantity now. It's my way of "investing in the future"

I keep hearing that it is because the chinese are buying up all the precious metals. Everything seems to be blamed on the chinese. Everything is caused by the chinese including global warming, economic recession, high ammo prices, divorce, high teen pregnancy, body oder and gout.

For me, it's not so much a blame thing as it is a reality thing. As more metals are consumed on the global market (by whomever -- for me it's really not anyone's fault--they're paying for the stuff) and as less surplus is available (also as more is shot or needed for conflicts) so will prices continue to rise. I'd sure like to be wrong and see prices fall -- more shooting for me

As long as we have a weak dollar commodities like metals, such as lead and copper, are going to be expensive. As long as the "Federal" Reserve continues to cut interest rates and print up more money to bail out incompetent banks the US dollar will become more worthless.

All the shops got emails or letters from various ammo makers at the start of the year telling them how far the prices were going over the next year. The prices for most companies are expected to go about 50% higher than they were in December by this coming December. Most shops around here had the letters posted for their customers to read.
