| Runnin' With The Big Dogs ![]() | New Military Photos Forum
Just an advisement...and with special thanks to Chris, for this opportunity... we have a new Military Photos Forum, of actual World War 11 photos, from stored 1941-1945 Archives Collection, for those who wish to see them. Many of these photos were "restricted", and released since...others have not been seen by the general public since the 1940's wartime years. I will be posting photos each day, and adding to them as I go through the many thousands, I have. Some are graphic in nature, of sacrifices made by our soldiers, airmen, and sailors in combat incidents, so be please advised. Thanks to all....enjoy! Military Photos - Gun and Game Forums |

Being a history major this is an AWESOME resource for me. I really do appreciate this Marine1, and Chris for allowing it. And of course I appreciate the sacrifices in those pictures.

Thanks Marine 1 and Chris. Even though I was young during WWII the photos bring back memories.

Thanks, M1, it's always good to visit our past, and remember who went before us. Those fellas were my heroes as a kid, and remain my heroes to this day. I had the privilege of getting to know quite a few of them, and most of my male relations were numbered among them. We can never forget...

My dad. Camp Shelby Miss. 1942. 43rd Cav Recon. 43rd Inf Div. Solomn Islands and Phillipines. Drove M8 scout car. Found a book on his unit through 43rd Veterans Assoc. Bought it from museum at Camp Blanding Fla. His whole story during WWII was in there.
