Me either Johnny. Sad to admit it's been sometime. It's kind of hard when the only range near me really sucks. You'd have to experience it to know what I mean. I have decided when my mew Storm Lake ported barrel for my G35 gets here, (and no I didn't get it for fear of a KB, got it to make use of the port cut out in my slide) and providing it doesn't need any fitting and cost me more cash, as they said it won't, I'm going then. And trust me, I'll make up for all the missed time. But,

Go ahead, start the floggings. lol

I`ve started working 6am - 6pm week days, and 6am - noon saturdays. I`ll go to the indoor range next saturday I reckon.

I`ve put 100 rounds through 1911 A1 SA 9mm.. I bought it 4 months ago.

I had the absolute mother of all tooth aches saturday night, I near got my GP100 out to shoot the expletive deleted thing out of my mouth.

It was off scale, right up into the joint of my jaw, in my ear and blind in one eye.

I`d made an appointment to have this crap tooth out for saturday, but I had to work, I just said toughen up, wait a week or two.

After dinner it just went through the roof, I was doubled over moaning. Bare abcess.

I found a 24 hour emergency dentist: " its a 250 dollar call out fee straight up " GREAT< SEE YOU THERE!!!!

I got couple miles down the highway, old man had to captain the voyage from there on, I couldn`t drive. Seriously.

The removal was Spanish Inquisiton horrific. My teeth have roots to my toes. Lots of cracking, crunching.

Dentist was like he was pocket porting a 350 Chev with the drill.

Cost my $500 all up.. I didn`t bat an eyelid, I`d have paid a grand.

But yeah, Ima go to the range next saturday and run a few through the GP and the Springer.

My rifles I dunno when. I`m still keen on a VX-L to replace the VXI on the VLP.

I`d put the VXI on my .223 Zastava.. Talk about a rat with a gold tooth.

I gotta start posting again, and send Chris some money for a subscription.

I heard he likes it in quarters so he can put it straight into the slot machines, but I`m sure he can advise me on that.

:P

Is that $500 Aus or in Greenbacks? Either way that sucks, but I can understand how you were feeling...

Sheer bloody luxury, I used to dream about only working 12 hour days and 6 day weeks! Working 16 hour days, on call for 24 hrs and away from home & shooting for 6 months of the year!

I feel sorry for those of you who have to use a range... That has to be horrible. I haven't shot much this yeat either however. Only my .22 because I can't afford to shoot my SKS or .30 06. Hopefully that'll change soon as I get my Mosin and some ammo for it

I haven't shot outdoors yet this year, but c'mon Johnny R, at least we have an excuse.

It's still WINTER up here!

My local range was snowed in until last week.

I moved back up north last summer and so far I'm not hooked up with a range. I missed hunting season too.

I live in the stix but inside the village limits. If the economy wasn't so bad, I'd buy some property further out.

Father time, you're welcome here any time you're in the area, and count that as an invitation! The range is always open here!
