I converted a Taurus Owner !

A friend of Mine had a Taurus .454 Casull and he called and asked me what I thought about it...He had some concerns Himself. I explained what I had found internally as far a machining and parts fit and That I wouldn't Own one.He agreed with what I told him, he could see some rough machine marks , and his cylinder would not lock up tight...had a lot of "Play".(Brand New Gun, less than 2 boxes of ammo fired through it!)
He went down and Traded it for the New Ruger .454 and after a month, he drove out from Anchorage to thank Me personnally, and show me the gun. He claims the New Ruger is more accurate, Better and smoother Trigger, and It Locks up tight on the Cylinder, something the Taurus would not do ( it was sloppy).
He left saying No more Taurus's for Me !!!

Ruger's a great gun -- no complaints there. Have SP-101.

I STILL Like my Tauruses -- Especially the Judges. And I'd STILL be willing to bet my life on them--continue to use them for home and car defense.

Although I do think the Sig 220's going to be my new CCW gun. Love how it shoots.

Cheers.

Got no problems with either Taurus pistol of mine, so I keep ignoring his rants.

The reason It's called the Brazilian Wonder Is...
I wonder if it will Fire...
I wonder if it will Lockup on me...
I wonder why the Cylinders are Loose...
I wonder why the sights fall off...
I wonder why Customer Service takes so Long...

Sorry Guys, I just couldn't Resist all The Wondering... LOL
