I did that at the farm.I try not to choose one over the other 25ft.handgun range to 500yd. long guns the 91/30 out performed the 45-70 hands down

Your comparing a 174gr. bullet to a 500 gr mass of lead. No one is ever slightly wounded by a 45/70. The 30 cal might go through the arm the 45-70 will remove the arm, you can't compare them.

your right boomer it's like my 17cal mach 2 over the 22cal. the 17mach2 is underradded that little gun is somthing
