Actually I meant for the red circle to be on the side of the console. It would be right to the outside of my right knee and thigh area.

I liked that link though....interesting...

I think I may just buy a small holster for the back of my pants and stick velcro on it. I want to be able to reach it easily, quickly, and with my right hand.

I like the idea of between the console and belt buckle release. That way you could grab it while you look like your unbuckling your seat belt.

I like the idea of under the dash. Would be easy to mount, easily reachable, and well concealed.

I say just mount it on the roof of your car, with a small motorized turrent and a web cam, then run the feed down to a small LCD behind your visor. Then add joystick controls, and you got yourself a nice little piece of protection.

Not good to have a handgun loose in the car. Make a sudden stop and the gun goes flying. Read the FBI report on the 1986 Miami debacle and see how many agents lost their handguns because they were not tied down.

Thats another reason for mounting under the dash. Nice, solid mount to metal!

There was a nice 50 bmg at the local shop that would make a nice addition to a roof rack (44 pounds of steel).
