Ok, so I finally took my 91/30 to the range today instead of just shooting out in the country at beer cans. It seems that it shoots about five inches to the right at 100 yds
Anyone know how I might be able to adjust the front sight so that I can take her hog hunting?
Any help is much appreciated!

If your group is good and it is just shooting right then you can drift the front sight a little and move the point of impact on target. A little drift moves the point of impact a fair amount so move in small increments.

Nope. Need to move the front sight to the right. If you put the sights on target and it is hitting to the right that means that the front sight is left of the line of the bore. So, moving the front sight to the right should move the point of impact left.

When adjusting the front sight, follow the bullet impact. Hits right, move right. It's the opposite for the rear sight, which is not adjustable on a Mosin Nagant unless you purchase an aftermarket one with such features.

Moose is there a tool like an sks front sight tool that will make this adjustment easier? I think I have asked this question but can't remember the answer. I think I have see a tool like this before but not sure it was for a Mosin.
