For milsurp ammo for practice, I think AIM Surplus out in Ohio has the best prices right now. 300 rounds of Bulgarian FNJ HB cost me $51 delivered via UPS. Century International Arms in Vermont, which is handy enough to Maine you might be able to drive over and pick it up (depending on where you live), is selling 440 round tins of light ball for $79. Go with what the other guys said for softpoint hunting ammo.
