The first 3 are of my wifes Akita, lazily named Kita. The other three are of my recently deceased Golden Retriever, Cayenne. The third pic is Kita trying to help me land a pike. We have a Calico cat named Aja also, I cannot find a pic of her to post atm.

I'm gonna try again. We have three horses, Choctaw, Kayla, and Shiver. I'll see if I can get a picture to show up! Well, I found pictures of Choctaw the chestnut, and Shiver the paint, but none of Kayla. Choctaw's aveteran of mountain hunting in the sierras, and is seventeen. Shiver's a three year old, and a native of Kansas.

Here's my beautiful mut Sadie. She will be 8 years old this July. She's not as energetic as she use to be.

My pet lizard

My pet lizard loves to eat crickets, flies, bugs, small dogs and cats and even people when it's especially hungry.

Talking

I love those St Bernard dogs. When I was raised on a small Kansas farm as a teenager we had two different dogs of that breed at one time or another. Luckily we had dairy cows because those dogs ate a lot and loved skim milk.

I would regulary stop by the local butcher's location and pick up a huge pile of freshly cut bones, which eventually got nearly entirely chewed up....or burried around our yard.

And...when "Tiny" caught opossums, that was a fun sight to watch. He would throw them up in the air and catch them in his huge jaws and crunch their bones. Goodby opossom!(ha)

And more...when guests would drive into our driveway, they usually stayed in their car(s) because Tiny met them ASAP and almost always stood with his paws on their car top looking inside the driver's window. Most would wait till we showed up before nervously getting out.

There were many other stories about our St Bernard dog. I'd love to have another one...but in town there's no way I would confine one like would happen where I live now.

Ox,

Yea, we love our little giants. We live in the country so they have all the room they want, which is definitely what they need. If people knew Saints, there's no reason to be afraid of them. They are gentle giants for sure. I know exactly what you mean about people staying in their cars, always good for a laugh. Great pets for sure.

My little German Shepherd. Smart as hell, thinks she's 6 feet tall, a great watch dog and doesn't use up too much room in the bass boat.
