Hobbies & Other interests

Besides guns, hunting, and fishing, what are you're other hobbies? Mine include drag racing, restoring older cars, collecting, restoring, operating, repairing American Flyer toy trains, and collecting 1/18 die-cast cars.

Thumbs up

I have some die-cast cars too - mostly 1/25th and Matchbox/Johnny Lightning types. The little ones store and display a lot easier!

I'm into "Adventure Motorcycling" with my Dual Sport KLR-650. A couple buddies and I usually ride a hundred-mile circle route each Sunday, lunching in one of several good eateries up in south Georgia.
We have a couple big meets each year - 50 or more riders together at a campground, with guided road and off-road rides.
My buddies and I also do local rides and camping. I'm always trying new gear.

I also have an on-again/off again interest in photography - first in 35mm and now in digital. I love being able to do my own digital work and printing now. It's not any cheaper, but a lot more fun!

I don't fish! But I do practice target archery, bicycle riding, reading, and until recently writing poetry!

I love tennis...

I love a convertible car, full tank of gas, ipod full of music, beautiful girl and open road to the beach.

I'm starting to get into riding motorcycles...going to take a rider's safety class sometime soon.

I REALLY like to have fun!!! I also ride motorcycles(on-road) when the weather permits, and enjoy horseback riding, when the weather permits, and I'm trying to get some oldtimers to start waterskiing again, when the weather permits. The weathers hasn't been cooperating much, lately. and did I say I love firearms of all types? I guess that's why I decided to get my certificate, and dealers license. The best perk is I get to shoot the guns, after I'm finished, to check and make sure my repair is a proper fix. Talk about fun!! Someday, I might even try fishing again.

Besides my obvious hobbies of guns and hunting, I enjoy 4-wheeling, hiking, and most of all, cave exploring.

I currently master music and edit short films for income. Love music and film. Also been playing acoustic guitar for about 6 years, and now I think I can consider myself actually able to "play" guitar-Man, that's tough. It used to get me sooo frustrated at times. Also like to take the dogs runnin' on these Pennsylvania hills.

Oh goodness...lots.

Currently, I'm getting into weight-lifting as a hobby and have made some good progress. I also take a Krav Maga class.

Geeky stuff: I collect a few comic books and every so play or run an RPG (less than once a a week). I'm also a console gamer.

I'm into the sciences in a hobbyist sense, with a particular emphasis on zoology (with an even tighter emphasis on entomology) and astronomy and astrophysics.

I do costuming for fun and for my yearly seasonal Halloween work. Less sewing (though I can do that) and more of the craft-building and engineering type costuming. Lot of plastics, leather, and metal, leg extensions, costumes that hide the human shape beneath, that sort of stuff.

I also sing. 2.5 years classical training (countertenor), some performing, but it's something I've let slack off a bit since coming to Vegas again. Really need to see what I can do with it here, since I'm not limited to Baroque Opera only (singing is singing), when I get some time.

Also a voracious reader and movie buff, though it's sometimes hard to find the time...
