World War 11 Photos (Fighter-Bomber Pilots and Aircraft)
Here we have World War 11 photos of some of the fighter-bomber pilots, and crew members as well as the aircraft they flew. Included is a rare-hospitalized photo of Ensign George Gay, the only Torpedo Squadron Pilot to survive the attack on the four Japanese carriers at the Battle of Midway. Ensign Gay, downed in the water, near the battle, had a birdseye view of the entire attack and the sinking of the carriers by US planes. He was later rescued by a PBY.

Torpedo Squadron 8 Video:
Click here for an outstanding, WW-11 video of Torpedo Squadron 8 Pilots and Crew, who gave their lives attacking the Japanese convoy, (including sinking of the (4) Japanese carriers at Midway Island 4 June 1942. These were the carriers who attacked Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941. As previously mentioned Ensign George Gay was the "only" survivor of this attack.
Man, I LOVE all these old photos of yours, but why don't you just put them in a Photobucket album?
That would be quite difficult to pack them all into one basket mixed by catagory, year, service, aircraft, home front, etc. The size of these photos would eat up the forum, from a photo hosting service. Otherwise I would be compelled to resize each photo, spending double of the time consuming factors. G&G automaticly downsizes each of the oversized photos (1100 pixels original size and larger)..... to "thumb-Nail" size photos, which does not hog up the threads with oversized photos, @ (6) at a time being posted. The seperation by catagory takes hundreds of hours of time to compile. I am doing it catagory by catagory as I come across each photo, and where it should be posted as, to try and maintain some kind of order, for much less possible confusion. I do however...thank you, for your suggestion.
