What I have is what I belive to be a british military trainig rifle. It is single shot bolt action with two types of sights. One sight is a fine sight that would be typical of most 22 lr's, It has a single fine post as the front sight and an dual post with ability to be raised for elevation in the rear. The other set of sights are two large posts in the rear and the front sight has a flip over sight making it much larger ( single post). Which resembles a large machine gun sight.

On the top of the barrel just behind the rear sight it is stamped L.S.A. london 1906, behind that stamp is a very small stamp that looks like: MIN. Rifle, Then a crown, then W.O. PATT. Under this stamp it has another small staamp that saysrd 4-754-18. The receiver and barrel are stamped 324. The stock also has a stamp : It says London in the middle with the london small arms company LTD around it in a circle.

I also wanted to add the riflings are in 80% shape, and I have taken alot of rabbits with this gun.

Cool look'in gun ! Have you owned it long ? Did a realitive bring it home from a war ?

My family owns a pawn shop in florida, wich used to be surrounded by a community of veterans and carnies. You wouldnt beleive what has come through those doors for a case of beer. Lots of Nazi stuff, Japanese stuff, and even some civil war relics.
I have had the rifle for about 20 years. It staid in the gun safe at the pawn shop for probably another 20 years before I got it.

Thanks Mitch for the website its incredible wealth of information, way more than I have ever known. Also the web site is linked to a museum that specializes in militery small arms, I sent in a discription make, model, serial numbers, ect. This gun could possably be worth more than I would of ever thought. Especialy since their average numbers start at 1000 plus and mine is 324. I also have a greater apreciation for what I have knowing that the gun was made in 1906 and its not model 1906. Thanks again.

I have one of the rifles made by L.S.A. London but the bolt was lost some time ago. If anyone has one are knows where I can get one please let me know. Also I need the sling mounts.

Do you know what it looks like so you can positive ID one if you see it? If not, this might be an excellent opportunity to get some pics.
There are quite a few unidentified rimfire bolts on the gun auction websites.
