Music preference is quite age specific. If you like it, have at it. I like Classic Rock myself.

Wayyyy to heavy for me. Although I would rather listen to that stuff than the garbage my fiancee listens to on mtv. I hate all modern hip/hop, pop and all the other garbage people are so fascinated by today.

I'm young and was born in the wrong decade. I'm a classic rock, kinda person. My radio stays on XM channel 46 Top tracks.

However I did run across some RATM the other day and found this video on youtube and I must say I don't agree with all their leftist views, but god I love this song.

More RATM

Ahh another good one

Also like this RAdio head song.

And this one is growing on me

Love Steely Dan

Dire Straits Intro to this song sounded so F#$KING awesome in my Avalanche when I Had 2 18"s

One more of my Favorite bands of this decade. I'm often told i Look like Dave Grohl, "We both have $hity Beards lol"

I can see by the titles and bands that I won't have an appreciation for it.
I favor music of the 50s, 60s and 70s the most.

Ah, Rage Against the Machine. One of the more prominent anti-establishment (mostly left wing) bands out there. I like a few of their songs to be honest.

I grew up in 3 generations my Sister, my Brother and mine. Late 50's and 60's are best .
I did like 70's hard rock and heavy metal too.

IMO, the best music was created from 67-77. And as far as "grandpa guitars" go-well, I think that acoustics are definatly tougher to play than an electric, especially when you are playing heavier metal type music on an electric.

I can set up my LP to play metal, and it doesnt really matter what you do, it all sounds distorted, and is all very similar to the next metal song.
