Sightron scopes

This is an extension of my previous Pentax thread, but I've never seen anyone here mention a Sightron scope. I've been searching and researching them and have yet to find a single negative comment. Due to my current financial financial paranoia, I opted for the SI which costs $106.00 with shipping (because it's gloss). I was pretty stoked about the Pentax Gameseeker because I like the Precision Plex reticle, but this one has a better "reputation". Any thoughts?

I'm hoping you'll give us a report on that Remington single shot as well. What caliber is it? I'm thinking of a .308 myself. Very nice looking set-up, by the way! Congrats!

I think I have on a few occasions.

Scope suggestions for a .243 Rifle

Scope question

I like them, alot. They are getting higher on the prices but they are still better than any scope for the same price I have looked through.

I have a Sightron 3.5-10x-50 on my 30-06 Savage. I think it's my best scope. Try finding a 50mm scope for $210 that is tough and has excellent adjustment capability along with nice optics. I thought it was the best 50mm on the market at that price. I still think that 5 years later.

Thanks for the info. I'm still wanting one of them in .308. I have a Baikal double in .308, still as new. A very good rifle for the price. How accurate have you found them to be? I'm not looking for match type accuracy, simply good hunting-wise. Thanks again.

I have the Sightron 3x9x42 and it has been very good at holding zero on my 7mm WSM, and my Stevens .308. It now sits on top of my Bushy M4 A3. Great glass for the money.

Whoohooo! The new scope came in today and it looks great. I don't know how a high-gloss scope is going to look on a matte gun, but I'm going to try it anyway.
