God Bless America!

There is a huge rock near a gravel pit on Hwy. 25 in ruralIowa< FONT face=Tahoma color=red size=7> . For generations, kids have painted slogans, names, and obscenities on this rock, changing its character many times.

A few months back, the rock received its latest paint job, and since then it has been left completely undisturbed.

It's quite an impressive sight.

Be sure to scroll down and check out the multiple photos. (all angles of the rock.

I thought the flag was draped over the rock, but it's not. It's actually painted on the rock too.

?

Here's the artist -- Ray "Bubba" Sorensen.

< BR>

AWESOME Work, RAY...Thank you!

"God Bless America " and
"OUR SOLDIERS AND VETS"

God Bless you everyone and pass this on!

Try using the G&G "thumb-nail" uploading from your computer, it's works well to prevent this from happening.

My kids sent that to me, and if I knew how, I'd have posted it. Thank you for getting it onto the forum!

Years ago when I bought our 1st. computer one of the first e-mails I received from a friend had this very same rock in the e-mail.
It was a little different back then and the picture also had the artist who painted it.
