Im stupid :-P
Lol I didn't realize my M44 had a laminated stock until I saw the laminated ones at AIM. Does it make it any more valuable?

I have a laminated m44 and a regular stock m38 and I rather the m38 regular stock by far, its lighter and feels better.

I prefer solid wood as well, but the laminate stock makes sense from the production viewpoint.
