Wisconsin: Governor Doyle Pushes a Massive Gun Control Scheme!

Legislative Alert! Wisconsin: Governor Doyle Pushes a Massive Gun Control Scheme!
Doyle Seeks Massachusetts Style Gun Control for the Badger State!

In an announcement at the Milwaukee Police Department’s District 3 headquarters, Governor Jim Doyle (D) outlined a gun control package aimed not at reducing crime, but at forcing Wisconsin’s law-abiding gun-owners to forfeit their Second Amendment rights. Not since his 2001 effort to ban the possession of all firearms other than single-shot rifles, pistols and shotguns has Doyle waged such an assault on the basic individual freedoms of the citizens of the Badger State.

Governor Doyle, a pawn for the anti-freedom movement, is urging the Legislature to pass legislation eliminating all private transfers at gun shows. Not stopping there, the Governor wants to repeal preemption statutes and allow local municipalities to enact their own, more onerous firearms regulations, such as the Madison handgun ban of 1994. Doyle is also pushing for flawed ballistic “fingerprinting” technology in the Badger State, an expensive and ineffective system supposedly intended to fight crime. Finally, Governor Doyle is seeking to expand the number of Wisconsinites who would be prohibited from owning firearms for hunting or self-defense.

Dump Doyle. How much longer does his term run? Then dump all the State Congressmen who supported this Bill.

Vote the S.O.B. out. Do they have term limits there?

I have a idea, maybe the linemen from Greenbay Packers can use him as a blocking dummy. I wish Reggie White was still playing up there and he could just hit him one time and they would be taking him off the field on a stretcher. He was one of my all time favorite players from U.T.

Good luck up there guys.

Don't they have a lot of hunters in Wisconson ? You would think the hunters would be in an uproar to where this Moron would be afraid to leave his house !

Doyle is a corrupt SOB... typical of his breed. Currently, he is "deciding" whether or not to run again for GOV.

We'll have to see how the Heller case plays out...

One way that he and other democrats keep doing well in this state is by vetoing any bill requiring voters to show ID. There have been many "voters" caught and processed in this state for voting multiple times and for voting as convicted felons.
It's much easier to win an election if your peeps can vote multiple times!

Doyle needs to give the people of this state their freedom... or they'll vote his dumb ass out of office.

Enough is enough, he's already tampered enough with our rights and our freedoms, raising taxes to ridiculous rates, etc.

We need a Republican.

Angry

Wisconsin is almost as bad as the Peoples Republic Of California. We have more damn liberals than Deer!

Doyle a typical Liberal, a corrupt, cheating, lying, stealing elitist jerk who gets his rocks off by punishing hard working law abiding people and taking away our rights and taxing us into bankruptcy to fund his corrupt liberal give away programs that always end up being abused.

Why do you think Wisconsin is called the welfare capital of the United States? Why do you think the Democrats keep getting voted in? Hello who votes for Democrats? The lazy worthless bums on welfare who want to keep getting paid big bucks to sit on their butts doing nothing.

Sending a message...

...to Wisconsin's extremely flawed voting system? Today the US Supreme Court declared Indiana's new photo ID requirement constitutional! Would be nice if the next time this comes up in Wisconsin, Doyle's veto could be overriden!
