Perhaps... but even then. Humans have been around longer than that. The Earth is about 4 BILLION years old. Admittedly, there wasn't life on it until much, much later, but it's still older than 10,000 years....
...that is, unless you ask Über-orthodox Christians that haven't accepted science passed anything espoused in the bible (yano, the ones that decried Darwin for his views in the 1800's).
As an aside, I was brought up and still consider myself to be an Episcopalian.

I remember not long ago someone started a thread about spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Members were outraged because of someone just bringing it up. I don't know, but I sure like themold redwood trees out on the west coast. Those are the prettiest darn trees I ever seen. And the sequioas upin the Sierra mountains, those trees are awesome! Ever drove right thru a tree? It's kinda different!
