Russia shoots down spy plane

Georgia says Russia shot down an unmanned spy plane as it flew over the breakaway region of Abkhazia.

Video - Breaking News Videos from CNN.com

I don't know the whole story, but what a view from that spy plane. I wonder what the operator of the plane thought when he saw that MiG let loose a missile. (15 seconds into the video)

Oh $H!4!

Well in a show I watched, even though the pilots of those things are like thousands of miles away, they still jump and react as if they are actually their. It was in an episode of futureweapons on the military channel.

UAV's are the wave of the future. Won't completely replace manned fighters, but I'd guess quite a bit.

Commercial airliners not in the near future..........."Attention: Do we have anyone on board who knows how to re-boot our airplane ?"
