beretta 9000

Does anybody have a beretta 9000? If so what can you tell me about it? I found one in 9mm for $290 used at a local shop, just wondering if it is worth it?

The only thing I can say about them, not owning one, is that they look pretty cool

I've heard pretty good things: Accurate, reliable. Some say that the slide might chew up larger hands.

They run about $450-$500 new, so the price seems reasonable if it's in good shape.

I own the 9mm and I think they are great ! I have shot about 1,000 rounds in mine and I haven't had a jam yet. Although Beretta has stopped making them you still should be able to get parts for them for many years to come. Beretta is a great company to deal with and the customer service is great. I have a picture of mine on my profile.

It's a great concealed carry gun. Small, light weight and the magazines it comes with holds 12 rounds. And it has that open top design that the Beretta 92FS has to keep it from jamming. And it can use the same magazines that the 92FS uses. There is a attachment you can buy for the clip to keep it from dropping below the grip of the handle. That way you can shoot 17 rounds without reloading.
