Dept. of Homeland Security Advisory: All American homes must have an emergency radio

I received this email through the GOP-usa email system. It linked me to this page. I am currently searching the DHS website for more information.

That company should be sued for using the name: "The Department of Homeland Security" for a B.S. ad.

I'll buy my own Thank you very much. lol Not aimed at you Crazy, but like 9mmfan said, bogus ad. All it's about is to get you to buy magazine subscriptions. I hate crap like that. Besides, if I'm going to get any magazine subscriptions, it's be shooting related that's for sure... Not about to make any media pukes any richer...

I bought 2 last week from Cabela's because of the bad weather were haveing in Arkansas.
It's an eton and has handcrank with it's own batteries or add your own which I did and it can be pluged into an AC outlet if you buy an adaptor. Recharges cell phones too.

NO! Not DHS. Look at the address in the address bar. If it was, it'd end in .gov...

And thanks for the PDF link to the checklist moose...

NO, I don't think you're THAT stupid. I was going by this post you left (quoted above). If it was a legitimate post from DHS, IT WOULD BE ON THEIR SITE!!!
Nothing in this post says you checked or were going to check the DHS site for further info.
And you're welcome. lol

And, why was this email sent to me via the GOPUSA - Republican - Conservative - GOP - Politics - News - Information member email addy? They usually send me stuff regarding elections, Democrat news, policies, invitations to conferences, etc...

We have a NOAH radio that has backup batteries. It's prob'ly a good thing to have here in tornader town, USA. It comes on automatically, when there's a threat in the area, of tornaders, or severe weather. It's prob'ly all the radio we need here.
