{sigh} the rich just get richer and the rest of us (middle class and the poor) will soon be killing each other just to feed our babies (God forbid).
I understand your position, but I still have a very positive attitude to the US and Americans in general, sans the liberal minority. I think we are too good a people, and have been through far worse, for a complete breakdown because of something as petty as high fuel prices.

I heard they are working on sea water as an alternative fuel. If the cars and trucks wouldn't suffer from power loss, that would be great.

OOOOHHHH

I knew something good would come out of this. Next door neighbor is a Harley dealer -- maybe I'll surprise her ! Great gift for Mother's day.

If she doesn't like the fat boy, I'll have to ride it....

If she does, we'll get his and hers.

I can't lose !

lol I live on the top of the biggest hill in town out in the country suburbs. To get anyplace i have to go down about 3.1 miles and I do that on a peddal mountain bike. It is a blast going down hill and a complete killer getting back but I do it. Gas costs so much now a days I cant really afford to drive a lot plus its good exercise should help me get ready for the military^^ I also am forced to use my bike now because my car is now dead the water pump and head gaskit or how ever its spelled is dead. The bill is 1600 dollars so forget the chevy for the next 130 days is the age of schwinn lol
