Eh, I'm not impressed. Everybody makes mistakes. When you're under scrutiny for wanting to be the next president your common everyday mistakes make headline news. For what reason, I don't know. I'd be more concerned if he said he planned on making everybody live together in a commune free of guns and polygamy runs rampant.

Unbelievable...if it were any other politician the media and the people on this site would be tearing him a gaping wide hole. People, a 2nd grader knows how many states there are, and doesn't ever mess that up. Now the guy who wants to take your guns says 57 states AFTER thinking about it for a while and you write him a blank check? Under stress or not, thats ridiculous. I don't need any more reasons to hate this man, his beliefs, and his background, but I'm sure as hell using this as one MORE reason he is unfit to be president, on top of the other hundreds I have now. Open your eyes, this man is a complete joke unfit to lead a cubscout group, let alone an entire nation. And please stop using Bush as an excuse for God's sake, thats old, we have a whole new bag of problems we need to address that rhyme with Osama and Billary.

Maybe he was counting visiting states more than once?

I'll cut the guy some slack, he must be drained of energy after doing all of this pointless and stupid campaigning.

I think it's nonsense to attack people over small things. If everybody keeps focusing on small things then they'll miss the big things they're trying to do to us.

Please; does anyone here really believe he doesn't know how many states there are in the union? Why should the media make a big fuss over it? The guy's tired, he's busy, he had a brain fart.
