I picked up two Vz24's this week. One is absolutely perfect and the other has a stock thats a little beat up. The action on both is slicker than snot on a door knob. The one thing I dont like about them is the full length hand guard that goes behind the rear sight. It makes it hard to see the sights. I'm going to try an after market stock on the one and the other is staying as is. The wood on mine is walnut. Both have bores that look about like the one in Dales picture. Havent shot either one yet and I have to wait until this weekend. I have both of them all cleaned up, got the ammo, so now I just have to wait.

Snakebite, Thanks for the tips on the possible sling suppliers. I've been thinking of a 24 for some time too. Keep us posted on how they shoot. Yeah Calvin, It still had the residue of cosmo after I cleaned it off. So, plenty of suncreen, lol. I'll do the final clean-up sometime this week, I'm sure. If I could just figure out how ot take the bolt apart on the 48A as it still has a lot of cosmo inside it. But, I'll figure it out. What is it with us collecting guns huh? COOL! Last November (when I subscribed to the old G&G forum) until now I have bought ten guns......almost one a month....dang! he he he he Sure is fun. I never had a true addiction....might have to go to Guns Annonymous.......NOT! lol
