Ear protection

This may be kind of an odd question but I'll ask anyway.
Are there any "cowboy action" guys, or hunters out there that shoot from horseback or across their horses back?
If so what do you use to protect their ears?

Me and my mule are going to "mule school" for a few days starting tomorrow. We are not shooting across them during this class, but I do plan to in the future. Maybe I will find out down there but I don't think these particular instructers will know.

Check with a cowboy action club they have a special set of earplugs specifically for horses and mules. It is designed for the very purpose you are planning and also to gun train a horse.

They said you could shoot off any mule..............once! They said check with the cowboys action guys too.

"Mule muffs" Kinda catchy. Godd name for a new product maybe.

Looks like this is going to be a busy fall and I got to make hay wile the sun shines. I have enjoyed the last few weeks chatting with you guys, your a good bunch. I'll drop in again when the snow is flying.
