Here's a statement issued when Texas Congressman Dick Armey was
asked if he'd been in President Clinton's shoes would he have resigned.
Here's his reply, which is now being nominated for quote of the year by
various groups:

"If you had been in President Clinton's place, would you have
resigned?"

Armey responded: "If I had been in the President's place I would not
have gotten a chance to resign. I would be lying in a pool of my own
blood, looking up and listening to Mrs. Armey saying 'How do I reload this
**** thing?' "
