Bring it on, Bro Bob! We'll BBQ some, and CGO will never know the difference! We're waiting for your arrival, like wiggly puppies, can't wait to meet your wife!

And, thank you, Chris, for a great place to visit and meet new friends. As soon as we pull out of the hole, caused by my hairbrain idea of starting a business, we'll be sending our fees. I'm in pretty deep, but itkeeps picking up, month by month. I'm building a solid reputation for reasonable, quality work, and the customers continue to multiply, along with repeat business. The best part is it keeps my troublesome self off the streets! And out of trouble!

Yea, I'm with you there...

...and, I feel the same way about the proper way to invite Spam to a BBQ.

I don't want any Spam flopping around on my plate...

...I say kill the stuff first, before you try to plate and eat it!

...and, I think a little BBQ sauce can add something to the mix.

...and, in all the Spam recipes I've seen, I haven't run across one that outlines how to prepare a Spam mini-roast, so here goes...

Take one can of Spam, open clean contents properly...removing packaging gel from Spam, unless you enjoy the added flavor this gel can provide

Place full cube of Spam (and gel if you choose) in warmed frying pan, and braise on all six sides

Place braised Spam in Pyrex baking dish (with any remaining gel, which is now liquefied), cover with foil, season as desired, to include some BBQ sauce

Bake on medium heat, 350, until internal temp reaches 160...which shouldn't take long for this size of roast

Remove from oven and carefully carve your roast

Prior to these preparations, invite over your Spam loving friends and dine together...

And, considering various and delicious Spam options, I haven't seen anyone do up an option for cooking Spam in an oil turkey cooker either...

...guess you'd need to remove the Spam quickly from the hot oil?

Thank you for posting this thread. I'm very new to the site and wondered how to become a paying member and even asked about it last night on another thread.

Some of the other sites I've been on make sure you see the membership fees before anything else but they almost seem hidden here.

I enjoy the site very much because everyone seems really friendly.

I plan on purchasing a membership asap.
