I have a Taurus Model 85 revolver that I purchased recently-I love it! Even a bit better than my .380.

Rossi or Taurus would be a couple of the cheapest for a decent 38.

I've got a S&W Victory. My girlfreind loves it, the grip is a bit short and narrow for my hand so's a little uncomfortable for me.

Charter, Rossi, and Taurus will be your less expensive decent quality .38spl's. Armscor is also a fair gun at a fair price.
