Meth cookers using propane exchange tanks causing safety issues...

Anhydrous Ammonia Safety Alert - National Propane Gas Association

I have no idea if this is legit but I guess if you exchange propane tanks like I do heads up. If you find the valve looking blue like Poppa Smurf best to pass on it.

Thanks for the heads up Killer.
We have a real problem with meth labs in my neck of the woods. I've seen people that are the same age as me(30's) but look like they are in their 60's because they hooked on that crap. I think making meth should get an instant death sentence.

They say most only go ten years, before it kills 'em. But I've seen a few that defy the odds. They oughta set up an island where they can send them, along with the molesters, and let 'em work it all out, amongst themselves, and leave the rest of us out of it!!!

Watch your oxpho-blue too. The local chickenheads stole my cold blue a while back. I wonder how long their livers will last. It seems like an awful lot of work just to steal eight ounces of cold blue.

A local meth head here had his genetalia burned off while stealing anhydrous ammonia. After he got out of the hospital, and then jail, he almost lost an arm stealing it again. Very addictive, yes.

We get our propane tanks filled at UHaul...we just take our tanks there and they fill it up while we watch...its chepaer that way too because they only charge you for the amount they give you! Check in to your local UHaul office before you next exchange your tank!

Lost a couple of once good tenants to that mess. It is like they were turned into zombies. A great way to get cancer. Thanks for the heads up on the tank valve. You never want to keep them in the house or garage in case of a fire.

Good to know. The wife and I cook out a lot, so we are always exchanging our tanks. I can honestly say I think I got one a while back that kind of looked like that. hmmm.

Sheriff warned the local CO-OP about leaving an anhydrous tank spiked with propane as bait for the methheads to steal. They are tired of losing 2000 gallon tanks of anhydrous to morons stealing a gallon.
