face to face

Was at work today , locked up in the back room busy leaving my fingerprints on other peoples guns when one of my co-workers came back and asked if I was a member of an on-line forum called Gun and Game. I was suprised that she knew and asked why she had asked ? , she said there was a fella out front that asked. OH Damn , what does ATF want now. so I walk out front and suprise, it's SwedeSteve. we had a nice chat and if I wasnt working I would have moved the meet to the nearest coffee shop, maybe next time. what a blast it was to finally meet one of you guys in person. If you have a chance give it a shot.

He's the one with all of those old junk Russian guns.....BTW, congrats on the meeting. I've met Shaun, jarcp, and talked a bit with Billy and Ox. Unforunately, I'm no longer in the position I was to meet folks since I took a "real" job.

Cool! I just saw Steve's thread, about the meeting, and thought, how nice to meet another member like that! We are hoping to meet more members, our own selves, down here in Okieland, and get to know more, and more of 'em.

Why do they always keep us old guys in the back? I'm getting claustrophobic!

Earl, my customers like me! Of course, out here in the boonies, I don't look that scary, and I guess I have pretty good manners in the shop, 'cause they keep coming back! It seems like a sign that things are going well, when you get repeat customers. I worked on five guns, for one fella, and he apologized, when he ran out of work for me! Maybe us old guys do know what we're doing, and just need a chance to prove it!
