Nice but deadroots. Whats your location Blacktail? I'm near Olympia/Lacey.
This is the first halibut I have ever caught. Weighed in at 115 pounds, and Was like 5 feet or so in length. Took about 10 mins to get him out of 50 feet of water. Location: Ocean > Secret Thats a big but, and boy was it tasty.

That halibut is awesome! Those things feel like you're pulling up a trash can lid....until they see the boat! Saltwater is the best, you often get surprised by what you end up hooking up with. Around here it goes-rainbow trout, rainbow trout, rainbow trout, brown trout, rainbow trout, rainbow trout. They're tasty, but boring.

| "E" the Fish - (2008 - 2009). RIP.
"E" was one of my girlfriend's betas. She had a pair, "Fish" and "E" (fishy) for her daughter. Unfortunately, "E" became very sick yesterday, likely a bacterial infection. We tried to save him, but he passed away sometime last night.

Went surf fishing last night (11pm-2am, thats what time the tide was moving). Didnt catch any stripers, which I was hoping for, but I did finally catch something. I got me 3 of these garbage fish, bait stealing skate. On an up note, did get to see some of that meteor shower Thrillbilly mentioned.

Her $10 Walmart pole with 4 lb. line. We were fishing for bluegill and this thing bit! She made me reel it in, so I made her hold it for the picture. Here's the result: |
