Thumbs up

Those are great looking blue catfish. Makes the one's my buddy and I caught look skimpy.(ha)

In NW MO, at Smithville Lake where I usually fish, l'm not aware of any Blue's being caught...mostly channel cats. However, I'm usually crappie fishing and occasionally "accidently" catch other species of fish.

Yesterday, for instance my buddy and I caught probably 30 crappie, with ten of them being the required 9" in length, two channel cats, one striped bass...enough for a tasty fish feast. We've also caught walleye pike in the past.

I've never fished in the Mighty MO River...but I have gone "jugging" in the Mississippi R. around the city of Lousiana. Now that was a fun day, too.

Wow! I am just getting into fishing, but having a blast. Here is a picture of a channel cat I caught 2 weeks back. The other picture I am attaching is of the guy who struck at my buddy while he was relieveing himself. Haha! Thankfully, my buddy saw him and jumped back at the same time and the diamondback missed him. Yikes!

What kind of ammo were you using to get that bad boy? lol

Just funnin' with ya'. Saw your avatar and it looked like you might be standing on the shoreline of a pond or river or something and thought I'd have a little fun. Nice looking fish though. Bet it tasted real good also?

Which reminds me... I go HUNTING for fish, under water!!!

Combine hunting and fishing in other words... Here's my record so far:

Monk fish, 36 lbs. Stabbed him with my 3 inch diving knife...

Talking This is my trophy size fish!

Only about 100 of these fish will make a nice fish fry.
