Angry Got ripped off today!

Some freaking azzhat apparently got into the cash register today and stole over $150! If I ever find out who did it, there won't be enough of his ass left to get a DNA sample from. I hate a fu**ing thief almost as much as a child molester!

Cash register?
What business are you doing. Thank God it was only 150. Bob's Shell Gas Station in Mo City has big bucks due to the cost of gas.
When Hurricane Rita hit the Gulf Coast the evacuuees where buying everything in the store. Register was busting at the seams with cash . With all those wacked out people going weird, I hung around his station when he closed for the day. As a LAC I was intending to go to the shooting range and was carrying. Seriously thought something was "going down" as he locked up. Two possible "deversions" at the last minute. Nothing happened.
Sorry Toolman. There goes your gas money for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Hunt.

Man that sucks! I hate a thief. A friend who was a vet said that in Saudi he witnessed a guy getting a hand chopped off for theft. Sounds like a good system to me!

A customer did it or a kid or some kids walked in for a drink or bathroom or something and did it? Or haven't a clue? And if I remember correctly you said you went to work for family or something, so if it's all family working there, the odds is was an employee then are nill to none. Were you the only one there when this happened? And went out to tend to a customer?

I've had that happen to me. Only I took the register key with me but they stole a bunch of candy bars still.

I think if people that got caught steeling, lost a finger each time, after ten, they couldn't steal anymore could they. Wish or I think they should do that. People tend to straighten out real quick when they know they'll for surely lose something. Said it in one other post. For most, time in jail doesn't matter anymore, it isn't enough deterrent. Yet you take or do something that is or does, they'll stop.

This is a small full-service gas station that I run. My stepson works there part-time but he was already gone for the day. This being the start of the month, I was slammed with folks wanting state inspections, ie: lots of "non-regulars" on the premises. Since I was the only one working, and was out in the shop most of the time, there's no telling who did it or when it disappeared. As near as I can tell going strictly off of memory, they got a $100 bill , a few tens and twenties, and some ones. The register was sitting way forward on the counter, so I figure someone knew where the drawer release button is and just pulled it forward, hit the button and helped himself to a little off the top. I'm going to start carrying when I'm at work. We have very little trouble there, but I plan on implementing a radical new prevention plan called "One Strike, You're Out!".

People on my route that had bussiness's like yours put a hasp and pad lock on there cash drawer.
They wear the key on a retractable key chain you wear on your belt.

Sorry to hear about the loss, Toolman. Those people need to be taught the lesson, for stealing from an honest person. The old testament said, an eye for an eye. Maybe we need to go back to the old way of doing things.

Nothing a few tin snipped off fingers wouldn't do. Too bad we can't do that. Maybe if we could, theft would greatly be reduced, and quickly.

My nephew buys run down houses and fixes them up and then sells them. For about the third time in three years he has had his tools stolen from the site. Just recently he had about three saws stolen. Cut off, table and circular. While he does most of the work, at times he will contract other parts out. He's pretty sure they're all inside jobs. Workers tell their friends and they come steal the tools. I've been really lucky over the years but stealing is something that really fries me! As I get older I try not to hate but stealing is something I just can't deal with!

there is a store about 10 miles from my house called hunters haven. they sell mostly hunting apparel and boots and such but the lady that runs it has a big shelf behind the register with the meanest looking poodle you will ever see laying on it with out a leash , i laughed when i saw it...picture a poodle siting on a shelf anbout 5ft high lol, anyway i dont think anyone would attempt to steal out of that register.
