Privateer's flag is up!

We finally found a frame that is the right size for the flag, and put it on the wall today. It was a shock, when I opened the package, and saw it for the first time. But it is a piece of history, and will be displayed with pride, as long as we are alive. CGO got some good pictures of it, and here they are.
John, thank you for letting us display this flag in the shop. It will make folks think about why we are so adamant about our rights, and why we raise such a fuss, when folks try to take them away. It will hang here as long as I breathe air, and let folks know that I still stand for the American Constitution, and our way of life.

this flag, by the way, was captured by the "Big Red One" during operations in the Cu Chi tunnel complex, in 1967.

I have a question for the Nam vets. I'd like to know, if you're willing to answer, how this flag would affect ya'll. When I opened the package, and pulled it out, a lot of emotion came out. But, all in all, it was okay, for me, because this is a captured flag from our enemy. A friend of mine, here in Oklahoma, said it sent a chill down his spine, the first time he saw it. Comments?

Scotty I felt the pride of knowing that it was captured from "them" but it also brought back the hatered I have for the ones that had it before it was taken from them by "US"

It will have a place on that wall, as long as the wall is standing! Steve, I've been working on that, for years. I used to carry a deep hate with me, everywhere I went. It was sucking the life out of me, and kept coming out at the wrong times. I spent five years, going to counseling, and finally got a grip on it. I still ain't goin' to visit, anytime soon, 'cause they had a bounty on my head, but I finally the hate to leave me alone, and it's gone away. I've met some, who went back, and they swear the trip healed their scars. I don't think that would be the case, for me. My losses still hurt, and I think about them often. But the animosity is gone.
