Picked up a nice german arminius hw7 22lr with a 6 inch vent rib barrell for 120.00,looks like a medium dan wesson, but was wanting a high standard but man theyve doubled in price over 200.00 for worn finishes, but the hw7 is identical to my dads bought over 30 years ago and we couldnt wear that revolver out, they had 2 and even gave me a warrenty on the pistol,i couldnt believe it,it is a nice shooter and nice and tight lockup, anybody else ever had one, safe shooting.
Congrats on the new gun! I have an Arminius HW38 in .38spl with a 3and a half inch barrel that I picked up for about 115 a while back. It has been a great shooter for the money. I just got my first .22 revolver and am loving it! Nothing like a good wheelgun! Especially one that I can afford to shoot like a .22! Lets see some pics!

Cant get pics to upload ,my daughters tried off a host site, but i would love to find one in .38 sp. i"d by it in a minute,i dug through some twenty year old guns and ammo mags and jan liboural who tested different guns out for the handgun section, tries a .38 arminius and said he was fond of it and it was well built, reliable, and shot great.i like 100.00 firearms my mosin m44 99.00, and my 100.00 hw7,german and russian,im sorry to say i cant afford any american firearms at the moment.
The big Gun Guide magazines that you see in the grocery store always list an Armscor .38 Special revolver for about $139. I think it's a far eastern knockoff of a S&W, but I've got no clue and have never seen one.
I got my Enfield pistol in .38 S&W for $150 at a gunshow about 12 years ago. And, my Ruger Single-Six was an amazing $90 from a charitable co-worker about 18 years ago. But, I haven't seen many bargains at gunshows lately.
THEY'RE STILL AROUND IF YOU LOOK. I've picked up several recently. Got a 'Buffalo Scout" SA for $95. Another QFI SA (same as FIE for but later name) for $96. And a PRISTINE like NEW High Standard Sentinel Deluxe for $130. OTD.
Sometimes it pays to do some detective work. I found a small town pawn & gun run by a little old lady. She doesn't even put her handguns out for display. You have to ask to see them. She will show you a list of what she has, then bring them out one at a time. No idea why she does this, but I'd bet she doesn't sell many handguns. And the ones she has are priced CHEAP! She has several .22 revolvers for $100. or LESS. I bought the Sentinel there (best of the lot), AND PLAN TO GO BACK!
