These are a few of my favorite things. Mopar muscle. Good Beer. Notice I said GOOD BEER...stouts ,porters and bitters Good wine. Love that German stuff. Good Scotts wiskey Good cut of prime beef. A day with good friends. Time with my grand daughters A pitch black nite at sea with a zillion stars out. A real crisp trigger pull. A five shot one hole group. Holding my high school sweet heart close even after 34 years. Flag and freedom, God and country. No particular order to these. Whats your favorite things?

family gatherings launching and driving a boat in glass smooth water October mornings Hitting a nine iron and watching it just stop on the green. Feeling that tug on the other end of the line. Talking to my daughter on the phone several times a week even though she's 23 and married. Going to my parents' house for supper. They're in their 80's Sitting in a tree stand, slight breeze, temp about 60 ditto: God and country, flag and freedom Being able to still coach our youth Three arrows in a two inch group at 20 yards

Everyday that I wake up in this Great Country of ours and enjoy the freedom to do anything I want. Being blessed with a wife of 24 years and three children and one grandson. Being able to go shooting -fishing-hunting & reading a good book. Spending time with old friends and talking about all of the stupid things we did when we were younger. |
