Hmmm... People, heres the thing. Let them legalize prostitution and drugs. There that takes the 'criminal' tag off those two activities. What does that mean for us? It is no longer illegal; therefore these things will be cheaper to obtain. In that i see less crime involving theft and all those. Now think about gangs and crime syndicates, drugs and prostitution are their bread and butter. Make it legal and this takes income from them hence less violence and it would be harder to run organized crime without big money. As for what all of you are going to say, "What about our children becoming addicts or Getting stds from prositutes..." Well teach them better.

I agree. When they repealed prohibition and went back to selling alcohol legally, crime (especially organized crime) went down instead of up. Controlling the flow works better than trying to shut it off, and forcing it down criminal channels instead...

I'm not wild about taxes, as a general rule. But it makes sense for our own federal, state or local governments to take the money, instead of letting some narcotraficante in Mexico or Columbia have it...

if there was ever a tax i do agree with, I would say, for a lack of other words,' a sin tax' if you have enough money in your pocket to get drunk, high, gamble or in need of some quick female company I think one might consider this tax!!

Las Vegas has a "Sin Tax"... it increased booze and cig prices by about 75%. Still. It works.
