New way to do things

Lately some newbys have been jumping my sh** about being everything from superior to just plain downright mean,so from now on I will pretty well stay out of the forums and answer questions if you PM me.That way I wont be a distraction in the forum like has been happening.I can't defend myself without sounding as stupid as the excuse they used to start the distraction with anyway,Some have PM,ed me for info and we got along great.I don't want to distract from a fine forum so I'll try handling it this way because they aren't going to quit.If I can help, please PM me and I'll try.I joined this forum to have fun and getting jumped all the time isn't fun to me.If this doesn't work,at least I won't be called everything from superior,to childish,to mean and heartless. sam.

Smile hang out

samuel; Sir; I for 1 would miss you. Continue ''hanging out'' with your views.
Each of us should have enough where-with-all to Respect each other.

When you disagree; this can be done with tact not ''attack''

Remember that some of us are philosophically color blind. I am mechanically color blind; what-ever you say the color is; is okay; I can't see it anyway.

Grey is a good color. Being Respectful is about color; about the responsibility to each other.

I know how you feel about being "attacked" on this forum. I've had a couple Mustang boards that I actually left cause of certain people after me being an original member and in one case I was even a moderator.

I like this board a lot. Now I just have to watch my language in some of my posts...! I guess I'm just used to having automatic profanity filters so I would never really worry about it.

Hang in there.

Sam, please reconsider, as there are many of us here, who value your presence. New members need to be a bit nicer, I guess, I don't know. I catch it, when I speak up, at times, but I'm not leaving, because of the friends I've met here. And you Sir, are one of those friends. Just try to ignore foolish remarks, and like a duck, with water, let 'em roll off your back. Scotty

Red face

Sam, no "Newby" has the right to join our forum and start chit with the members that have been here and paid their dues! While we welcome new folks, I have a low tolerance for trouble makers. Most are youngsters who weren't breast fed as babies and will be nothing but trouble to us and society from now on. You matter! Don't ever forget that!

Don't go Sam. You'll be missed, as well as you knowledge. I always read your posts as they always seem to have something positive to say.I've been attacked also for my views, but they're my views. If someone doesn't like them, then so be it, and move on..Anyways, please stay...

Sam I enjoy reading your posts and have picked up quite a bit of information from them, so I hope you reconsider and stay around.

Thanks everyone.I'll answer but in no way will I have a reply to what I consider is going to lead to one of these disruptions. At the same time i will try not to give a reason that would lead to one. Most of my info can be verified in books. The rest is personal experience and I try to state the difference. Again, thank you all. sam.

Sam, don't give up just because some FNG can't handle the truth and forthright answers and/or comments. Many are simply narrow minded owners of the "black rifle" who acclaim themselves at their shooting prowess at 15 yards. I've been around alot of'em. You're too frickin' old to cave like this. It is necessary for the knowledgeable strict old farts to stand-up to the junior know-it-all wannabes.
So...stick around my friend!

I agree with all of the above Sam! Anyone with more than a 126 posts shouldn't have to take any guff from the "new fish".

Who cares what other people think about your posts Sam, scr#w them, keep up the good work. Some people just like to argue about some of the dumbest subjects and if they get offended by common sense.....forget them.

You can't please everyone, so no matter what opinion you have someone is going to offended by it. Forget them ! So don't worry about it, I don't.

I even had one person get mad at me about typing in bold print........they thought I was yelling....... I guess they don't even know that it is only considered yelling if you type in capital letters. Maybe they missed that in their 3rd grade typing class. The funny thing is I write all of my posts in bold print and I wasn't even speaking to them. I guess they just appointed themselves as the internet police.....There is a lot of dumb people out there and unfortunately a lot of them are on the internet.

Hey, Samuel, step back a bit and chill out

as you are being a little bit too far on the sensitive side.

There are many, if not all, of you whom I would love to meet in person. Seems like everyone here has a positive contribution to make, and I look forward to logging in every day to see what's new. I learn something every day, and even if I don't agree with everyone, I still learn SOMETHING.. Thank you all for the wisdom you share with folks.. I'm glad I belong here...
