Ignore List

Don't know how many people utilize this on the forum, but I have something to say about it......... How do you folks make it through life when someone pisses you off? Is there an "ignore list" in real life? Are you that weak? I think it's juvenile and you always have the option to go elsewhere or ignore what they said. I will be the first to say that no one on this forum will ever be put on my "ignore list"! Chris, you might as well take that option away from me. It won't ever be used. You have as much a voice as I do and I'm a man and can deal with whatever you have to say! If you have a personal bone to pick, you can PM me! There is no sense in dragging the whole forum into a battle of whits, ideals or a misunderstanding. For those of you that believe this is a viable tool, I pity you. There has been numerous times that I wished things would just go away, but that's not the way life is. There are some on this forum that raise my blood pressure, but they are still members and I respect their thoughts even though I'm 180 out from them. We still share a common bond. We love our country, family, and our Second Amendment Right! We are a fraternity and you are my brothers and sisters.

Ignoring someone is a lot better than beating their face in with a crowbar

i use it daily.
it is better than getting irritated by opinions i don't and never will agree with.
and yes i walk away from people i don't like in real life.

I've never used the ignore list feature in all the many forums I've posted on. People can mess with your head, especially once you "feel at home" somewhere. But, "oh well". People are people. I still own my Mustang and don't "cruise" in many of the clubs I used to. It's not going to destroy my love of racing my car. I know very little about the gun I own and appreciate the responses to questions I get here. I've even "cried" about my down fall this last year to you folks and only got very supportive responses. Some of the biggest "barkers" on boards have still taught me a thing or two. Every day I strive to become a better person. Life is too short to worry about the little stuff. Mom always said, "Pick your battles"... God rest her soul.

i always read what you say.

some folks always want to argue.
and after reading their posts for a few months i came to the conclusion that they will always be repeating themselves .
so i ignore them.

You're young, Billy. There will come a time in your life that you will have to deal with reality and you won't have the option to hit the "ignore" button.

I have considered putting Texas-T on my ignore list, but I just can't. She really loves me and I don't think there is anyone that does a better job of keeping me in line and out of trouble. Even though we go at each other, almost every day, she knows I'd take a bullet for her!
