Well well well, i just got out to Cali tonight. Gonna be here a few weeks myself. Gonna try some fishing in Lopez and Margarita and some deep sea fishing out of Morro depending on what they are catching.

Oh, what grocery store out here has the best price on some ?

Welcome back, Cal-Gal...., it appears you had a great vacation with the family. I agree, in my younger days, I residing in California for (20) + years. I miss to ocean-beach, too. Sometimes...I used to drive down to...and walk alone...down the beach for a few miles, and back..... about dusk... relaxing from the business / work related and personal problems. It worked for me... with the go-go-go...trend of that State.

You all are great friends, and I appreciate the welcome home you've given my wife. It brings a tear to my eye, to know there are so many good people left in the world! We got out, and put our neighbor's cows back in the pasture, this morning, as someone left the latch loose. They're on vacation, and asked me tokeep an eye on things. You all are like those good neighbors, just not as close, physically. But you're next door neighbors, in our hearts! We are proud to call ya'll our friends!

Strange you should mention Walmart. Its the one thing that the hippie protesters out here and me might agree on. Seems that they have stopped any Walmarts from being built anywhere around here. There are 5 fairly large cities around here and none have a Wal-Mart. In fact they are suing to stop a smaller town in the middle of them from building one. I dont know if I am really that against Walmart or not but I dont like shopping there and I dont like some of their practices. So dont go saying that I like hippie protesters. lol.

The small towns don't want them to build them because the mom & pops stores will close down.I have seen a lot of empty stores in Jay because Jay has a Wal-Mart.I don't know if this is what Sam Walton had in mind when he started Wal-Mart..!! I would hope not.....

Welcome home, girl. And all those stories you're going to hear from the neighbors about what Scotty's been up to? Pay 'em no mind. You have my personal assurances none of them are true...

Scotty; be sure all the empty booze bottles, and left-behind nighties are stashed in a good, secured place.

Scotty, that's what this forum is all about, isn't it? I think you summed it up pretty good.
