... I just don't see how this can "help" illegals. My guess is that the politicians in the area will blame guns, not the illegal alien.

Had the illegal not been there and not coveted by the city, this would not have happened.

San Francisco's 1989 "City of Refuge" ordinance prohibits city agencies from contacting the feds on immigration matters."

I'm having a little trouble when cities/states pass laws that directly condone and assist the violation of federal law or decisions of the Supreme Court. It seems that as much as people complain about the federal government having too much power over our lives, it is the local governments who seem to continuously put the citizens at risk. Mayors and City Councils these days are blatantly acting as Lords over the cities without any thought of violating civil rights or repercussions of their actions. Fenty, Bloomberg, Daley, etc. and their cohorts really need to be reigned in.

She is probably one of the ones who votes in the liberal idiots and morons year after year. What's that old saying "A conservative is a liberal who got mugged" or something like that. In this case it's "A conservative is a liberal whose family was gunned down by a criminal, illegal alien gangbanger".

The way I look at Illegals being allowed to stay is because the bussiness's want them to be here for cheap labor and the powers that be have give into them.
And they cost the chit out of us tax payers in entitlements there not entitled too !!!

Can you beleive it was voted to give them social security ? They holler it's broke and they add them to it.

I agree there shouldn't be any sanctuary states !!! man this kind of stuff pizz'es me off !

Either way, ya' gotta feel for her. I couldn't imagine losing my wife of 16 years this past June. And if it were due to the act of a criminal or illegal immigrant who's a criminal, I'd hope I could stay in control?

You hear and read about this crap everyday all over this country and what burns my A$$ the most about it all is this; If they'd just let those who qualifiy to carry and want to, do so, most of this crap would stop and stop real quick.

Dump 90% of people off of welfare and make'm work. We don’t need millions of aliens invading our country.
Let local Law Enforcement issue tickets to employers, the cities will make millions and it'll change their attitude.
That widow likely has a great case, ‘you, the city, neglected to enforce the law thereby assuming partial responsibility for my husband’s death‘.

This is interesting! The liberal cities wanted to sue the firearms manufacturers for inanimate objects being used by criminals, and thought it was okay. Wonder how they'll handle being sued for harboring illegal criminals?

I saw the video on the news last night. It absolutely blows my mind that those POS politicians condone violating federal law.

That would be about like my local authorities making my city a drug smugglers sanctuary. Those cities should be sanctioned off from the rest of the U.S. Kinda like cuba
