I've had a couple over the years. not very accurate. sold them off. compact & mid size guns work well for me. even w/ small hands.

I was at a local dealer here today. He had an LCP in. First time I actually handled one. I think I know what is on my "To Get List" next. Very nice. Small, light and pretty. Heavy trigger pull though. He wanted $375 for it which is way too high. I'll wait until they are available all over but it was pretty.

I have a Beretta Tomcat .32 which I use for pocket carry. It's not real accurate but I don't feel these small guns were meant to be. Point and shoot.

Really I want to buy a Ruger LCP. I want something I can have with me all the time, any weather...any clothing. A carry gun that you have with you is better than the one you left in the car cause it was too big to hide. JMHO!
You'd be better served with the Kel-Tec P3-AT. Exact same gun as the Ruger LCP,(Ruger copied Kel-Tec) except all the bugs have been worked out, and it's a little less expensive.

I was really impressed with the look and feel of the P3AT. Never fired one but really liked the feel. At $275 how can ya go wrong?

I have owned kel-tec's and I am pretty familure with their quality. I beleave they are reliable. I have not heard that the LCP is not reliable and I have compared the P3AT and the LCP side by side and the LCP feels better in the hand, has what apears to be a stronger frame and IMO a better finish on the slide. It was a Cabela's that I saw them both and they were priced the same. I just liked the LCP better than the P3AT. I believe both are good guns.

I agree with everything there. I handled them side by side too. The LCP was $35 more at the dealer I saw them but I'll gladly pay an extra $35 to have the Ruger name behind me. Kel Tec is coming on strong as a quality gun but I still feel better with Ruger.

I have enjoyed the two Kel Tecs I have shot. I don't own one but a shooting buddy has 4. They are great little guns with a nice kick and a cheap price. I plan on buying one soon.

$375? Is that the same thief who wanted $260 for a high point? MSRP right on Ruger's website is $330.
