| NASCAR Guitars
I'm not much of a musician by any means. I did play some guitar in high school and in college but I came across these cool guitars at the store called american musical supply and thought some others might be interested to learn that you can buy NASCAR guitars there. Has anybody ever bought anything from them before? Here are the guitars. All of your 'nascar' products at 'American Musical Supply' I'm thinking about getting one and starting to play guitar again but I know nothign about the quality of them or the reputation of the store. |

I'm looking for a decent guitar for cheap. This looks like it might fit the bill! I'm not a nascar guy...but who cares!

For being NASCAR logo'd, they're not as expensive as I expected they'd be that's for sure. And I'm not a NASCAR guy either. But I will occasionally tune in to watch a race or two. lol

Really, what does or could that tell ya'? Maybe a waring to turn and run from them? lol Keep looking Chris, they're out there. Check pawn shops and even second hand stores. In fact, a second hand store just might be a good place to try. Might have to replace a few or all the strings, but hey, if you get one for $20 or $30 bucks, what the heck right? I see them all the time at thrift stores and Salvation Army stores all the time. And with Salvation Army, the money actually helps people, or so it suppose to anyways?

With the economy they way it is, check out a pawn shop. You will find lots of deals there now.

Silvertones are pretty good quality. I noticed they are 3/4 scale with Humbuker pickups. Not to bad to practice on. The Les Paul for 449.00 sounds better.l

I'm a semi-serious guitar player, Silvertones are for the most part toys. Tough to go wrong for that price however, just don't expect a serious musical instrument.

Im a semi serious guitar player as well, leaning more on the serious side and if you want to be amazed check out the new Squier Classic Vibe Tele @ $300 new. Its as tight, clean fitting and the pickups are as good if not better then some Fender MIMs. Alot of very serious Tele players (Tele snobs) are picking these up fast as they can be made becuase price to quality ratio is outstanding, if i hadnt just picked up a 71` thinline tele last month id be all over Squier Classic Vibe Tele for gigs and outplaying. In past squire has been hit and miss but not with any of these i seen. They do classic rock, surf music, rockabilly to country twang as good as any of tele i have that has Fender on headstock that I payed much more for. I also second what ACfixer said about Silvertones.
