I see you are getting one ragged hole. Can't beat that.

I'm going to try some slower ammunition, but without a scope the limiting factor seems to be my ability to see the 3" target from 50 yards away.

i was in a hurry to try it out w/scope, but next time i will try with iron sites.

They also make that beautiful Mannlicher in 6.5X55. I'm drooling for one of those. Seems like they run around $600 plus--maybe some day.

thanks, ammo used was cci mini-mag round nose, 40 grain.

Addressing the original question - hated Mannlicher stocks at first, got in to collecting milsurps, now I love them.

And it's pronounced "Monn-leeker", which should keep the leers and giggles to a minimum. ("Uranus" I can't help you with...)

Again, I know this is an old line but I have to agree, the full stocks are really great looking. I'm looking a a 527 FS that has some of the prettiest furniture on a production rifle I've seen in years.

And CZ rifles shoot really well too!
