am i right, on a sbr if it is not made from parts{ just adding a stock to a pistol ], you do not need to engrave or stamp it..help my first sbr .

i found the info i was wanting i called the atf..FYI if you are building a sbr with an existing firearm you only need to engrave your name city state..you use the ss# and the cal. already stamped on the gun. but if you are building a sbr from parts you need to engrave name state city ss# and cal.
