I have a Rossi 20 gauge rifled slug gun

and I am extremely pleased with it in terms of accuracy and reliability.
I would not trade it.

My shooting buddy has one, with a .17HMR barrel and a 20 gauge shotgun barrel, in a neat little nylon case. He likes it, though the .17HMR barrel has a rear sight that looks to be only adjustable for windage by tapping right & left.
It is drilled and tapped for a scope mount though.

Which I feel is absolutely necessary to get full performance from the wee .17!
Especially with his "fifty yard eyes".....

I think the Rossi is a better looking gun than the NEF/H&R design.

They seem to be reliable and dependable guns for the money.

Glad to hear everyone's reply! I have been looking at them for a while and they seemed crude compared to the NEF handi rifle. I was worried about accuracy so good to hear they are accurate little rifles. I have a soft spot for single shots!

Just got one for my grandson. It's the .22/410. The 410 was the first gun I ever fired. The recoil really got my attention. I cleaned and the cosmoline off the gun and gave it a light coat of Rem Oil. I think he will love it.

Reb

Plus it's got that good looking carrying bag too. Got mine at Dick's for 109, and a rebate I have to send to Rossi for 20 bucks. Not bad.

Question about adding a barrel

I have a combo gun, 17cal and 12ga, I was wondering if it was possible to get another barrel. I would like to add an 223 or 243 barrel and if this is possible, where can I get it. I know that there are many different combonations. Thanks
